PSPO Survey - Tell us what you think
Summary
We are proposing an extension to the Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) for dogs and for anti-social behaviour related to street drinking. As part of the proposed extension, we are seeking your views.
PSPOs are an effective way of dealing with persistent anti-social activity by individuals or groups that have a detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the local area. The maximum penalty for failure to comply with a PSPO is a £1000 fine.
Under the terms of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, the current orders will expire on 19 October 2023. We propose that the current PSPOs are extended in revised forms for a further three years, until 19 October 2026.
In the following survey you can register your views on the PSPO for dogs and the PSPO for anti-social behaviour related to drinking.
