Dalmeny Park Improvements
Welcome to our dedicated page for the proposed improvements to Dalmeny Park. Here you can learn more about what’s being proposed.
We are committed to creating a greener, healthier, and more equitable Islington. To support this vision, we are pleased to say that ward Councillors have allocated capital funding from developer contributions through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for improvements at Dalmeny Park.
Survey feedback
In July 2024, we spoke to the community about the improvements they would like to see. We received a total of 130 responses (45 online, 66 by post, and 19 at the community event on 23rd July 2024). We greatly appreciate the community's high level of engagement and thank everyone for their valuable feedback.
Concept Design
The Council has appointed Ireland-Albrecht Landscape Architects as landscape architects for the project. Following the feedback received from the community, we have developed a concept design that we are delighted to now share with you.
You can view the concept design and a summary of the feedback from the survey on the right of the page or below if viewing from a mobile device.
Let us know what you think
Based on the feedback from the community, the proposed improvements aim to transform Dalmeny Park into a welcoming, enjoyable, and accessible space for all residents and visitors. While significant changes to the design are not possible at this stage, we value your thoughts on the proposal and any suggestions for refinements that could enhance the final plans.
You can provide feedback by completing the form at the bottom of the page by Sunday 20th April.
You can also speak to the team at a community event in the park on:
Friday, 4th April between 2pm and 5pm
There will be refreshments, face painting, and entertainment on the day. All are welcome!
Thank you for your participation. We look forward to improving Dalmeny Park with your help!
