Family Hubs bring together lots of different services for children and families to make a single ‘front door,’ making it easier for families to get the help they need at the right time. Family Hubs offer help and support to families from pregnancy up until age 19 (or 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities - SEND) with great Start for Life services (the critical 1,001 days from conception to age two) at their core (delivered through Bright Start). Family Hubs provide a welcoming and inclusive way into services, removing the need to explain more than once, to multiple people, what you need support with.
We are in the process of establishing three Family Hubs in Islington so that by April 2025 there is a family hub and family hub network in North, Central and South localities.
We are asking parents/carers for feedback on:
how accessible you find services for families in Islington
how well connected the services for families are
how you experience the relationships with professionals providing support to families
how involved parents/carers feel in the development of family hubs
The information you provide is anonymous and does not link back to individual emails. Information collected via this survey will be analysed statistically and used to help inform the improvement of Family Hubs.
