Supported by a funding allocation from the Thriving Neighbourhoods Programme and CIL funding from Junction Ward councillors Sheila Chapman, Janet Burgess and James Potts, we are currently planning improvements to the old ball court and near by green area at Palmers Estate to transform it into an attractive inclusive community space. We want to ensure the improvements meet the needs and priorities of the estates residents and local community.
With your help we can create an attractive space for you and your neighbours to enjoy, including improvements such as planting, play equipment and planters for community gardening.
Initial resident survey
Please take a few moments to fill out the below survey and help us have a better understanding what you would like on your estate.
This is an opportunity for you to be actively involved in helping to improve your old ball court and open spaces. The feedback provided will feed into early stage designs developed for the open space within the estate.
All ideas are very welcomed, and the survey will be open until 15th April 2025.
We have also sent a letter to Palmers Estate residents which contains a paper copy of the same survey questions.
We will update this page, and residents directly via mail, about the outcomes of the survey in May.
Survey background - which areas are we planning to improve?
The survey refers to the two below areas that we are looking at:
In close-up, these are:
Zone A - the old ball court
And Zone B - the open space at Greafield Close
Please fill out the survey below. We look forward to hearing from you!
