Islington Council believes every child matters and we’re committed to transforming lives through the power of education. This is made possible by working closely with education leaders, teachers, school staff, parents and carers.
As part of our ambition to strengthen the education system, we’re reviewing the way we support schools and education settings. We’re inviting you to join a webinar to listen to our proposals and share your views.
As parents, carers, teachers and school staff, you all have an important stake in Islington’s education system, and we want to ensure your voice is heard and you’re kept informed.
We know that Islington provides an excellent education to its children, with 97% of our schools and settings rated either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ with results above the national average. We also recognise that the current education landscape is changing, and we are facing many challenges. We must ensure we’re fully equipped as a local authority to support our education system in this changing environment.
We would like to show you how we support schools and settings and hear what you think is important to your child and school. Your questions and feedback will be used to help us understand what matters most to the school community in Islington.
