Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) help deal with persistent anti-social behaviour (ASB) by individuals or groups that have a detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the local area.

Under the terms of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, we are proposing to extend the use of these PSPOs until 2026 so that we can encourage responsible dog ownership as well as dealing effectively with alcohol related ASB.

We hear clearly from our residents that dealing with ASB is a priority issue and so we are seeking your views on this proposal to extend the current PSPOs for dogs and ASB related to street drinking for a further three years, until 19 October 2026.

Please take a few moments to read the Supporting Documents and provide feedback via our survey.
